Q: Are your safes fireproof and waterproof?
A: Many of our safes offer fire and water protection. For example, SnapSafe modular safes provide 1½” of ceramic fiber fire protection rated at 2300°F for one hour and feature door seals that expand during a fire to protect contents from hot air and water damage.

Q: How do I get replacement keys for my Hornady or SnapSafe safe?
A: Contact Hornady at 1-800-338-3220 with your key number (found on the lock mechanism or key), proof of purchase or photo ID, and the serial number of the item.
Installation and Maintenance
Q: Can I bolt down my safe?
A: Yes, many safes come with pre-drilled holes for bolting down. For instance, SnapSafe modular safes have four pre-drilled holes in the bottom panel for bolting down or running wires for accessories.
Q: What should I do if my electronic lock isn't working?
A: First, check and replace the batteries. For example, SnapSafe safes retain your combination code even if the battery dies; simply replace the battery to regain access. If issues persist, consult the manufacturer's support resources or contact our customer service.
